Microcap Morning: January 8th

•Crossroads expanded their OEM partnership internationally with FujiFilm today, to now include Canada and South America in addition the existing U.S. territory. Fujifilm is set to sell it's Dternity NAS (Powered by Crossroads StrongBox technology) this year. The agreement provides considerations to further broaden distribution into additional global markets as well. Crossroads may have significant opportunities within its '972 and non-'972 portfolio, although this demonstrates success with its physical offerings - mainly to drive growth for StrongBox.

•CRDS Jeff Eberwein also purchased 20K more shares between $2.45 and $2.48. The activist investor now owns 2,556,717 shares.

Trading this morning has been all over the map. Silver Sun is down over 25% on extremely thin volume, normal for the company and a norm with microcaps. Health Insurance Innovations is up 4% to $7.80, a nice bounce from near $6.15 just two weeks ago. Crossroads is up 4% to $2.60 on light volume, so shares are still able to be purchased.
